AIYF BAJA OBJECTIVES

Provide quality education in Haiti that encompasses an approved
curriculum. Educate pupils and parents with personal hygiene
procedures and basic health care.  Implement an agricultural
program to help students and their families learn how to grow
their own food.

Mentor church leaders in Biblical teachings, so they may teach
others.  Teach the simple messages of Christ – that we are saved
and we are loved.  Build hope and a future through these
teachings. Express Godly compassion.

WHAT WE'VE DONE

Successfully registered the AIYF as both a US 501 C and Haitian
non-profit organization.  Purchased more than 5 acres of property.
Professionally surveyed the property.  Delivered a fully operational
fire engine as a gift to the people of Ouanaminthe.
Completed and opened 130 ft well – water was potable.
Final water quality test completed by 09/01/05.

WHAT ELSE HAPPENED IN 2005

Architect, Pat McAlary donated a site plan and detailed construction drawings for AIYF Phase One, Two and Three school construction.  Hired “On-site” Haitian Administrator/Attorney –
he will act as auditor and legal counsel for school construction.  Hired the General contractor for school construction – he’ll be responsible to the Haitian Administrator.  Completed permanent foundation for our Phase 1, six classrooms.
